Emotional Libido

Emotional infidelity can be as devastating as sexual infidelity to a relationship.

When our heart is not in it fully, but only partially ... any intimate relationship we are in will be compromised.  Read more »

Home Truths

Home is where the heart is.  So Home Truths hit close to the heart and when they do, some of us get knocked to the floor.

Facing what is really going emotionally for many of us mere mortals is confronting and difficult to say the least. But unless we do we will not be able to know our own heart intimately.  Read more »

Misplaced Discipline

Discipline I once thought, was a practice for fearful losers, whom in my book who were not brave enough to live on the edge and take a risk.  This was, I am now pleased to report,  my albeit narrow and misinformed translation of this word.

I used to confuse the word discipline with punishment, and consequently disliked this word immensely for the first three decades of my life.  It used to mean to me having no fun, being bossed around by someone else rules, trapped, bored and regimented.  Read more »

As I sit here at my desk for the first time in weeks, I have time and a quiet empty house, and .... I feel peaceful again, halle - bloody - lulyah! Read more »

Emotional Homework

I was sharing from the stage at a recent Step Up event for teens about the subject of Emotional Homework.  You see I was a person in my teenage and young adult life that decided to skip the life lessons set for me by Mother Nature and Father Time during this stage of life.  I thought that I could get away with not doing them and nobody would know.  My reasons for deciding to emotionally take off were varied.  In a nutshell though it was mainly because I knew my level of emotional literacy was already very poor and felt sure I would fail, so saw no sense in maki Read more »

Emotional Fitness Master Classes

What a privilige I experienced last night at the launch of the very first Emotional Fitness Master Class in down town Bris Vegas.

For those of you that were there with me, thank you so much for choosing to share the next stage of the Emotional Fitness journey into the wonderful world of  heart work.  I am so looking forward to the next fifteen weeks and to treking the wonders of the human heart with you. Read more »
