Emotional Fitness Master Classes
What a privilige I experienced last night at the launch of the very first Emotional Fitness Master Class in down town Bris Vegas.
For those of you that were there with me, thank you so much for choosing to share the next stage of the Emotional Fitness journey into the wonderful world of heart work. I am so looking forward to the next fifteen weeks and to treking the wonders of the human heart with you.
I would like to also say a heartfelt thank you to Jodie Bache McLean of June Dally Watkins who is so graciously hosting this inaugural series for the Brisbane public. Thanks also to Ross Hutchinson for your professionalism and attention to detail last night that ensured the evening ran smoothly.
But my gratitude list is not complete without making a very special mention of thanks to my darling hubby, Mr. Delicious whose love and belief in me and my lifes work, simply makes my heart sing. Thank you Sweetheart.
My apologies that my blogs have been a little few and far between over the past few weeks, as getting these Master Classes up and running has been a monumental task. So thanks for bearing with me.
The pre orders for the Series 1 Master Class Workbook have started coming in from all corners of the globe, however I just need to let you know that the finalised printed workbook will not be available until November 2010. As I am finding new gems to add to it as we progress the Master Classes. So I will hold all orders and fill them in November, thanks for your patience.
For those of you who have been emailing and would like to know a little more about the Master Classes, I have inserted as promised, the Overview in this weeks Blog, that features in the Workbook below to give you a clearer snapshot of this work.
Master Class Work Book Overview:
Throughout the Emotional Fitness Master Class Series 1 author Cynthia Morton shares her insights into how the practical application of Emotional Fitness through self care every day, can provide an answer to the emotional problems and challenges that confront us, whether these are in our relationships, our health or our careers. Health experts frequently remind us that a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise each day will help keep us physically fit. Cynthia recommends a minimum of 10 minutes per day of Emotional Fitness as an essential element in building emotional strength and resilience. The three key emotional exercises that help build and maintain our Emotional Fitness levels are the focus point of Master Class Series One. Throughout this 16 week course participants will repetitively build emotional strength and competency in these three basic areas:
This workbook is designed to provide its owner with the opportunity to rate, observe and document changes and improvements regarding your personal level of Emotional Fitness. By making the commitment to learning how to more effectively exercise these foundational emotional muscles participants will without a doubt reap rewards, as one does over time with commitment to specific muscle groups with physical exercise. We cannot change what we cannot see, and Emotional Fitness can seem like an invisible and intangible concept to grasp without the aid of a self study tool. This workbook is that tool providing an opportunity to improve self awareness relating to your emotional health and wellbeing.
Communicating to ourselves and others with the eyes, ears and voice of the heart takes courage, patience and self discipline. To align thought, feeling and action is a discipline of balance that we all keep learning and adjusting throughout our entire lives. Like physical fitness, we don't just do it for a little while and hope that sets us up for the remainder of our days. Physical fitness is a lifestyle commitment one must maintain at a pace that suits the individual lifestyle. Emotional fitness works on the same principle. However often people are unsure of where or how to start when it comes to the inner world of emotion.
It is wise to invest daily in routines that sustain our emotional health and wellbeing also. This workbook used in conjunction with the Master Class Series workshops enables participants to pick and choose from a range of Emotional Fitness workouts and exercises tailoring them to suit the individual's lifestyle.
It is often said to learn a new habit it is advised to set aside 12 weeks in order to let go of an old lifestyle in order to fully embrace a new one and create new pathways in the brain for the new lifestyle choice. From giving up smoking, to losing weight, or working out at a gym, after 12 weeks of consistent and repetitive new teachings and information input, the new habit starts to become easier to incorporate into daily life. In this 16 week Master Class Series participants are invited to take the time to deliberately invest in their relationship with themselves providing 'food for feeling' opportunities within each Master Class session. Monitoring elements like emotional diet, emotional exercise and techniques to improve emotional self preservation and enjoyment in life, have made the Emotional Fitness approach a unique success story.
The Brisbane Master Classes are quite full at present however if you are really keen to join us drop me an email and I will let you know if a space becomes available, and how our numbers are going and do my best to fit you in, if possible.
We will be re-commencing in Feb 2011 so if you miss out on this series please contact me and I will ensure you are first in line for 2011.
I look forward to keeping in touch, and thank you for all your wonderful comments and support, please keep them coming.
The Word Vitamins I leave you with today are from the 14th Dalai Lama and come to mind as I reflect on the wonderful souls I was blessed to share the Master Class group with last night!
